First quarter of 2019!

Here's a mammoth update for the first quarter of 2019! First off, the two-track Gladiatori dell'Apocalisse (edit) digital single, originally released for Groupees.com's California Wildfire Benefit, is now available to stream and download!

Featuring two previously unreleased tracks, the long-play single sees me revisit and finalize an Italo-flavored outtake from the 2016 Gladiatori dell'Apocalisse 12" EP sessions, with Andrew Claristidge (of Acid Washed) providing a remix of the b side track The Ravagers. Available via Bandcamp and all streaming platforms, teaser video here.

Second, the physical version of my six-track EP tribute to John Carpenter's iconic 1982 classic The Thing - Outpost 31 Isn't Responding - is finally available!

Originally released in the fall of 2015, the 2018 ’redux’ version saw the digital single completely remixed and remastered, and expanded with session outtakes, one freshly-penned track, plus my reimagining of Ennio Morricone's Humanity Pt. 1 added as bonus tracks!

Manufactured on snow-white cassettes with full color A and B side stickers, the "cassingle" comes with a wrap-around sleeve featuring Van Davis' gorgeous original artwork printed on premium recycled card stock. Available via Bandcamp! Teaser videos here and here.

Finally, having received the news that my Test Subject 011 EP is mentioned in Kevin J. Wetmore Jr's book Uncovering Stranger Things, I decided to print up a limited-edition sleeve for the 7" vinyl version to celebrate!

The VHS-inspired alternate artwork, featuring Stranger Things character Eleven in an action pose, is printed on 130 gram folded paper stock, comes in a plastic sleeve and is hand numbered to 50 copies!

Only available via Bandcamp here, it includes a download of the digital EP version that now adds the alternate mix of Test Subject 011 (from the Choice Cuts 2014 - 2018 album) as a bonus track!

The 2018 ’redux’ version sees the original two-track single completely remixed and remastered, and expanded with two previously-unreleased session outtakes, one all-new freshly-penned track, plus my reimagining of Ennio Morricone’s Humanity Pt. 1 added as bonus tracks, making for one twenty-minute EP's worth of ice-cold horror synth!

The physical version comes on an six-track "cassingle" manufactured on snow white cassettes with full color A and B side stickers, and a wrap-around sleeve featuring Van Davis' gorgeous original artwork printed on premium recycled card stock. Videogram Redux

As you may have noticed, my early albums, singles and EPs are not available via Bandcamp and are currently in the process of being removed from Spotify, iTunes, Deezer etc. This is on account of this coming fall seeing the release of, among other things, the Videogram Redux series.

The series will see the re-release of the early Videogram efforts, with every track remixed in hi-res 24-bit 44 kHz audio, professionally remastered for maximum oomph - in some rare occasions, small parts have been re-recorded - complete with bonus tracks culled from demos, unreleased tracks and outtakes - and presented with all-new artwork!

The series will feature three installments. They are (to be released in the following order):
- Videogram Redux. The original 2014 S/T 16-track album, complete with bonus tracks, including previously unreleased songs unearthed during the mixing sessions.
- Slashed EP will replace the 2015 three-track Cobretti EP, adding several bonus tracks taken from a never-finalized slasher-themed EP.
- Outpost 31 Redux will update the 2015 Outpost 31 Isn't Responding two-track single, adding several new John Carpenter's The Thing-themed bonus tracks that were never finalized during the sessions.
The Charles Bronson (original mix), Camp Blood (2014 version), 2077: Raiders of the Apocalypse and Cobretti EP will be discontinued.

Those that showed my project much-appreciated support early on need not worry. Their purchases will be honored and download codes will be available upon request.

It's gonna be an exciting fall! Thank you.

Happy New Year!

Here we go: New year, new video! Check out my all-new effort for Horror Express off the Pre-Cert album on Cineploit. The 1972 British/Spanish co-production starring Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing is a personal fave and is actually based on the same sci-fi novel as John Carpenter's The Thing (John W. Campbell's Who Goes There?). The movie is in the public domain, meaning you can download it for free via Archive.org etc., so make sure to check it out!

Got some additional news since my last post. First off, check out this cool t-shirt I got from Cinepunx! A tribute to Lucio Fulci's 1979 video nasty classic Zombie Flesh-Eaters (known in the U.S. simply as Zombie or Zombie 2), you can get yours via their official Facebook page here, and make sure to tell them I sent ya!

Towards the end of December I received the exciting news that my Pre-Cert album had placed at number 75 on German distributor HHV's Top 100 film and soundtrack albums, and the latest news is that it has climbed up to number 60! Just amazing. Vielen dank Deutschland!
EDIT: I was just informed that the album jumped up to #59! Again, vielen dank!

For those in the U.S. looking to score physical copies of either Pre-Cert or Camp Blood, Dusty Groove have them in stock, ready to ship out! Summing up my Cineploit debut as "cool 80s sound that really feels like the music from some straight-to-video flick", you can get the LP here, the CD here, the LP/CD combo here, and the Camp Blood EP here.
EDIT II: I was just informed that the Camp Blood EP has sold out! Insane! Keep ordering and they'll restock it!

For those in Europe, One Way Static have both records back in stock but they are already running low, so make sure to act fast on that one. You'll find Pre-Cert here and Camp Blood here.

Outpost 31 Isn't Responding

Check it out: My two-track tribute to John Carpenter's sci-horror film The Thing, Outpost 31 Isn't Responding, has been released digitally today.

Taken from the same sessions as the coming Pre-Cert LP/CD on Cineploit, these tracks are exclusive to the release and won't appear anywhere else.

The title track is heavily inspired by the feel composer Ennio Morricone created for the 1982 classic, and I set out to create a similar sort of theme-quality, really taking my time with it.

The single comes with a gorgeous sleeve created by U.S. artist Van Davis that truly captures not only the vibe of the movie, but the title track as well! I couldn't be more stoked having his work used as a presentation of my music, so make sure you check out his portfolio here!

The single is available for purchase via my official Bandcamp page, and will also appear on iTunes, Deezer etc. later on. Give it a spin below!

EDIT: If you act fast and head on over to Cineploit's official Facebook page you can enter their contest to win a free download of the single!
